Retta the daughter of Joseph Paul Chappell and Bessie Evelyn (Randolph) Chappell. Elbert the son of Herbert Elbert Sellers and Essie M. (Eaton) Sellers.

Retta Jean Sellers

Retta Jean Sellers, 79, of St. Charles, Mo., died May 7, 2015.

Born Nov. 13, 1935, she was the daughter of Joseph Paul and Bessie Evelyn Randolph Chappell. She was a longtime resident of Overland, Mo. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Lavell "Bo" Sellers; two sisters, Freeda Johnson and Wilene Poteet; and three brothers, Gayle Chappell, Larry Chappel and infant Jamie.

Survivors include a sister, Yvonne Fielden, St. Charles, Mo.; a brother, Eugene Chappell, Eureka Springs; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral was Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Imboden Church of Christ with Stanley Rogers officiating and Warren Smith as song leader. Burial was in Hope Cemetery under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Paragould Children's Home.
