Thomas Cleon Caudle, 64, of 930 E. Ash, died in a local hospital Friday after an extended illness. He was a retired carpenter and lifelong resident of Washington County, born Jan. 31, 1901 in Winslow the son of Albert and Rachel Hayes Caudle and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Marie Tackett Caudle of the home; one son, Kenneth R. of Dallas; his father, Albert Caudle of Fayetteville; three brothers, J. Kenneth of Fayetteville, Noel of Wichita, Kan. and Paul of Winslow; five sisters, Mrs. Beulah Hansard, Mrs. Bernice Pickford, Mrs. Mable Logue, Mrs. Velda Matthews and Mrs. Jewell Love all of Wichita and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Baptist Ford Church. Burial in Baptist Ford Cemetery under direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.
