Feb 5, 1926 - May 20, 1971
Mrs. Joy Marie Swartz, 45 wife of James C. Swartz, Old Wire Road, died suddenly Thursday night in a local hospital. She was a Baptist. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Peggy, of the home; two sons, Jackie Swartz of the home and Rory Eugene Calhoun of Memphis; her mother, Mrs. Sarah Dobbins and step-father, J. J. Dobbins of Wynne; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Dearing and Mrs. Fanie Sue Partain of Wynne; and Mrs. Doris Gene Montgomery of Santa Maria, Calif.; three brothers, John L. Dobbins of Ft. Smith, James R. and Ervin Wayne Dobbins of Wynne. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Proctor's Chapel with burial in Chidester Cemetery. (Camden News - May 21, 1971)
