Henry L. Lee, 78, of Junction City, Route One, a retired farmer, died in a Junction City nursing home early Monday. Mr. Lee was born in Summerfield, La., Feb. 17, 1886, the son of Isaac and Jane Price Lee. He was a member of the Holly Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Annie Jean Lee; three daughters, Mrs. Grayson Cates and Mrs. Porter Roberson, both of Junction City and Mrs. Harry Johnson of El Dorado; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Junction City Baptist Church with the Rev. A. W. Smart and the Rev. C. T. Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Jolly Cemetery under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Arthur Smith, Frank Staton, Charlie Lee, Bobby Lee, Finis Lee and Herbert Miller. The body will be taken to the church at 2 p.m. Tuesday. (The El Dorado Times - June 15, 1964)
