FAYETTEVILLE — Florence "Effie" Mae Cook Greenlee, 88, of Fayetteville died Jan. 26, 2007, in Springdale. She was born July 6, 1918, in Shamrock, Okla., to Martin Luther and Mary Ann Sullivan Cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Greenlee.

Survivors include three sons, Martin Greenlee of Rogers, Kenneth Greenlee of Strickler, and Billy Ray Greenlee of Johnson; four daughters, Mary Barnhart of Farmington, Bertha Penticoff of Fayetteville, Hazel Frazier of Fayetteville and Frances Davis of Jay, Okla.; one sister, Daisy Bayley of Fayetteville; three brothers, Edmond Cook, Garland Cook and Lawton Cook, all of Fayetteville; 26 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, online at www.nelsonberna.com. Jerry Henshaw and Cecil Case will officiate.

Burial will follow at the White Oak Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Cook, Bobby Cook, Lonnie Gates, Roger Gates, Andy Greenlee, Johnny Hammond, Don Greenlee and Chris Pennington.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
