Cecil Sowash, 94, of Greenbrier, passed away Monday, February 28, 2005. He was born June 14, 1910 in Longwood, MO to the late John L. Sowash and Lavenia Allspach and was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Sowash; brothers, John L. Sowash Jr, John H. Sowash; sister, Effie Rutherford.
He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church of Greenbrier.
He is survived by his daughter, Fran Smith and husband Randy of Greenbrier; grandsons, Brad Smothermon of Brinkley and Wade Smothermon of Greenbrier.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier officiated by Bro. Sonny Hall with burial in Thorn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Randy Smith, Steve Smith, Tom Tubaugh, Wayne Hale, David Brosin and Vic Zemensky
