John Wayne Wiles, 68, of Atkins died December 25, 2008, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Russellville. He was born December 20, 1940 at Bay, Arkansas to Mac and C.C. Markway Wiles. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Wiles and a son, Jimmy Page and a sister, Wanda Pratt. He was retired U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Mill Creek Bass Club.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Wiles of Atkins, 4 sons, Johnny Mac Wiles, Joe Mike Wiles, Ken Page and Tim Page, 4 daughters, Tina Lawlor, Sissi Mangus, Kathy Shaff and Katie Maisel, his mother C.C. Markway, 2 brothers, Danny Wiles and James Wiles, 6 sisters, Barbara, Wanda, Connie, Jean, Mary, Peggy, and his father, Mac Wiles, 24 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial with military honors will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 29, 2008, at Atkins City Cemetery. The Honor Guard of Rogers-Rye VFW Post in Russellville will serve as pallbearers.
