Regina Catherine (Jean) Hight, age 81, of Bigelow, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. She was born November 5, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Cyril Joseph Henry and Dorothy Stermer Henry. She worked as Perry County Health Nurse for many years, volunteered at Conway Regional Hospital, and retired from the V.A. as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Walter G Hight Sr. of Bigelow; children, Linda Willmann (Steve) of Paris, Arkansas, Dorothy Camp (Nub) of Perryville, Rebecca White (Jerry) of Batesville, Walter G. Hight, Jr. of Bigelow, and Bart Hight of Bigelow; brother, Dr. Jack Brackin (Elaine) of Rockport, Texas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Regina Katherine McKinney.
Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Father Richard Davis officiating. Burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery by Harris Funeral Homes of Morrilton. Rosary will be 6 p.m. Friday, July 18th with visitation following at the funeral home.
