Mrs. Mry M. Gilbert, aged 83 widow of Jim N. Gilbert died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Louis Leach at 624 Arksen Street at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Gilbert moved to Camden about eight years ago from Calhoun County. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church here. Survivors are one son, Fines Gilbert of Crossett; three other daughters, Mrs. Idella Robertson of Camden, Mrs. Ruby Gilbert of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Jane Boatright of Paradise, La.; four sisters, Mrs. Alice Gilbert and Mrs. Julia Sloan both of Harrell, Mrs. Evia Parker of Warren and Mrs. Benzie Cooper of Montrose; 18 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Faustina Baptist Church south of Harrell, conducted by Rev. Duell Tanner. Burial will be in the Faustina cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home.
