April 16, 1931 - March 20, 2011
Reverend Tom Davis, 79, of Conway, AR went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2011 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
He was born April 16, 1931, to Silas Emery Davis and Mabel Ditch Davis in Little Rock, AR.
He was a bi-vocational Southern Baptist Minister for 55 years and retired from Frigidaire in Conway. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; Clark Davis; eight sisters; Bess Jones, Rose Almquist, Clara Davis, Eva Johnson, Hazel Johnson, Sylvia Kirby, Dorothy Ferguson and Viola Davis; one nephew; Bob Johnson; and two nieces; Helena Perkiss and Mildred Ku-kuruga.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Armstrong Davis; his daughter; Stephanie Easley and her husband Gary; his three sons; Marty Davis, Tommy Davis and wife Carla, and Steve Davis and wife Charity; six grandchildren; Jennifer Smith, Justin Easley, Jason Davis, Brooklyn Davis, Ryan Davis and Conner Davis; nine great grandchildren; two brothers; Valley Davis of Little Rock and Silas Davis and wife Yvonne of Tucson, AZ; one sister; Vera Douglass of Silver Springs, MD and Dubois, PA; one niece; Lois Bedford; as well as many more nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be 6-8pm on March 22, 2011 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, AR.
Funeral services will be 3pm on March 23, 2011 at Roller McNutt Chapel with the Reverend Larry Ballard officiating. Entombment to follow at Crestlawn Mausoleum. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Davis, Justin Easley, Gary Easley, Gary Almquist, George Davis, and Steve Harbour.
