Jack A. Roberts, 70, of Fayetteville, was dead on arrival at Washington Regional Medical Center Tuesday after collapsing while on a fishing trip. Born May 23, 1903 in Coxville, the son of J. Lucian and Lilly Bell Watson Roberts, he was a retired plumbing company operator and a Baptist.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Margaret Hanna Roberts of the home; one son, Col. Dan A. Roberts of Travis AFB, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Lester McChristian of Mountain Valley, Calif., and Mrs. John Byrne of Dallas, Tex.; one brother, Austin of Oxnard, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. J. M. McClain of Ojai, Calif. and Mrs. Alma Armbruster of Ratcliff and nine grandchildren.
Arrangements will be announced by Moore's Chapel.

Memorial may be made to the City Hospital for special projects.
