James Idus "Uncle Dick" Ray was the son of Robert Franklin Ray, Jr. and Mary Ann "Belle" Lawler. He lived alone for the most of his life, but finally did marry late in life for a short time before his death. He served during World War I, with the US Army. Marriage to Ethel Elizabeth Lambeth on Nov 26, 1962 in Fort Smith, AR.
