Glenn O. Puckett, 96 of Fort Smith died Monday, June 4, 2007, in Fort Smioth, He was a retired carpenter, a charter member of East Side Baptist Church and a member of the Adult Six Sunday School class.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at East Side Baptist Church Chapel with burial at Barling City Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Emma; two sons, Larry Puckett of Greenwood and Ken Puckett of Neosho, MO; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris, Matt, Stewart and Ken Puckett, David Coatney and Wallace Brown.

Emma Jeane Puckett, 89, of Fort Smith, died January 27, 2008 in Barling. She was a Charter Member of East Side Baptist Church, a retired employee of J.C. Penny, a Volunteer for St. Edward Mercy Medical Center, and a Poll Worker for the Democratic Party.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Puckett of Greenwood and Ken Puckett of Neosho, MO; one sister, Alice Gerz of Fort Smith; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Puckett.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the East Side Baptist Church Chapel with burial to follow in the Barling Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be David Coatney, Matt and Stewart Puckett, Gary Don Reed, Jerry Prescott, Wallace Brown, and Kenny Puckett. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Puckett and Emma's Sunday School Class of East Side Baptist Church.
