Raymond F. Johnson, 60, 1901 E. Emma Ave., Springdale Ave., Springdale died Jan. 11 in the Fayetteville VA Hospital. Born May 31, 1917, at Spring Valley, he was the son of William Marion and Hattie Black Johnson and the widower of Nancy Peek Johnson. He was a retired farmer, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include one stepson, Jerry Sweeney, of San Diego, Calif.; a twin brother, Ralph Johnson of Springdale; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Welch, Mrs. Irma Fitch and Mrs. Vol (Laura Jean) Parsley of Springdale; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Joyce Cemetery under the direction of Sisco. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society.

Mrs. Nancy Lou Johnson, 55, Rt. 5, Springdale, died Jan. 28 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 23, 1921, at Mulhall, Okla., she was the daughter of Lee and Lela Potter Peek, a member of the Methodist Church, a retired schoolteacher, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Fayetteville and Rebekah Lodge 85 at Kingston.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond F. Johnson of the home; one son, Jerry Sweeney, San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Cloyd Lowrie, Mulhall, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Joyce Cemetery under the direction of Sisco. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Fund.
