Ms. Vanessie Anderson, 85, of Mt. Home passed away Monday, Feb 21, 2011.
Vanessie was born in Higden, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry V. Flowers and Vonny Brewer Flowers; her husband Roy W. Anderson, brothers, Pete, Herbert and Dick Flowers, and sisters, Pearl Erwin, Mildred Mitchell, and Nora Bledsoe. She was also preceded in death by a niece, Deltha Grimm.
She lived most of her life in Hughes, Arkansas, 5 years in Forrest City, and the last 17 years in Mt. Home. Vanessie was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are her sister, Faye Staockdale of West Plains, MO and Vet McHann of Memphis, Tennessee and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Kernodle Funeral Home with burial in Forrest Memorial Park in Forrest City, Arkansas.
