Mrs. Linda Rutledge Hill, age 67, of Conway, died Tuesday at the Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway. She had been in poor health for the past several months.
Mrs. Hill was born January 15, 1947, in Lee County, Arkansas, and was the daughter of W. A. Rutledge and Juanda McBride Rutledge. She lived in Forrest City and Palestine until moving to Conway in 2012, was a medical transcriptionist and had retired from Yale Hoist, and was a member of the Wall Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hill married Jerry Hill in 1974, and he preceded her in death in 1994. She married Franklin Thigpen in 1995, and he survives her along with one son, Gerald Hill, and wife, Jennifer, of Conway, one daughter, Brandi Hill of Conway, three brothers; Doug Rutledge of Beebe, Larry Rutledge of Nebraska, and Ronald Rutledge of Searcy, four sisters; Irene Herron and Joann Bryan, both of Holub Crossing, Dorothy Thieme of Searcy, Arvetta Schlieve of Washington, and Mary Vincient of Southaven, Mississippi, one granddaughter, Rebecca Conners, and husband, Josh, of Beebe, and a host of family members and friends. She had one sister, Lorene Mitchell, four brothers; Earl Rutledge, Edward Rutledge, Bill Rutledge, and Ken Rutledge, who all preceded her in death.
Services for Mrs. Hill will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 10:00 A.M., Saturday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery.
