Luella Cox, 87, of Evansville, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 1994, at her home. Born Oct. 10, 1906, at Odell, a daughter of Martin Columbus and Lily Phillips Goldman, she was a member of the National Extension Homemakers Council. She was the widow of Charley Cox.

Survivors are a son, Douglas Cox of Evansville; a daughter, Karen Hobbs of Fort Gibson; three sisters, Linnie Dunn, Emma Grimmett and Irene Mattox, all of Lincoln; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral is 2 p.m. today at Evansville Community Church with the Rev. Tim Gyles. Burial is in Academy Cemetery, under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
