Nellie Jean Green, age 83, of Bauxite, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010. She was born October 29, 1926 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Green was a homemaker and a member of United Pentecostal in Benton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry H. and Ollie Shoemaker; brother, Raymond Shoemaker and a granddaughter, Jamie Green.

She is survived by her husband, Orval Green; five sons, David, Danny, Jimmy, Paul and Michael Green; two brothers, Jack and Billy Shoemaker; five sisters, Thelma Davis, Vivian McDonald, Shirley Norris, Janie Minnis and Judy Wallace; nine grandchildren,Emileigh Green, Gina Green, Judy Smoke, Kimberly Green McDade, Jennifer Dykes, Jimmy Phillip, Joey, Marcus, Jason and Michaela Green and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 5 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 6 at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Rev. O. D. Crabtree will be officiating.

Orval Green, age 93, of Bauxite passed away Friday February 9, 2018. He was born July 4, 1924 in Little Rock. He was a retired Truck Driver for Arkla Gas. He was preceded in death by his parents Emmett and Essie Green, wife, Nellie Jean Green, son, Danny Green and a granddaughter, Jamie Green and three brothers.

Survivors, four sons, David, Jimmy, Paul, and Michael Green, Grandchildren, Judy Smoke, Gina Green, Kim McDade, Jimmy Phillip, Joey, Marcus, Jason and Micheala Green, Emileigh Hunter and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Ashby’s.

Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Thursday at Pine Crest Cemetery by Ashby Funeral Home.
