Wayne Robert Polk, 69, of Little Rock died Tuesday, March 21, 2006. Born at Marthaville, Louisiana, August 14, 1936, he was a son of the late Maynard and Becky Masters Polk. He was a Parts Manager for Clark Machinery where he had worked for 42 years. He was a Baptist and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Polk; two sons, Dale Blackwell and his wife Toni, and Scott Blackwell; grandchildren, Olivia, Cori Beth, Micah and Trina Blackwell; two brothers, Kenneth Polk and his wife Frances of Minden, Louisiana and Earl Polk and his wife Shirley of Jacksonville, Arkansas; a sister, Nita Gough and her husband John of Olla, Louisiana; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 24, 2006 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel (501)224-8300 with Dr. Jack Hazlewood officiating. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Jack Hazlewood Evangelistic Association, P. O. Box 17004, Little Rock, Arkansas 72222.

Dianne Polk, age 76 of Little Rock died Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at her home. She was born on March 17, 1942 in Many, Louisiana to her late parents James and Edna Self Blackwell. She worked in bookkeeping for St Vincent Infirmary for more than 30 years and was a member of Little Rock's First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Polk.

She is survived by two nephews that she raised like sons, Dale Blackwell (Toni) and Scott Blackwell; grandchildren, Olivia, Cori Beth, Micah and Trina; one brother, Kenneth Blackwell (Norma); one sister, Joyce Blackwell Walker (Rodney); and a host of nieces and nephews, Mike Nichols (Marilyn), Jan Nichols Booker, Alisha Booker Jacuzzi (Richard), Nicole Booker O'Shea (Brennan), Lauren Booker, and an abundance of great-great nieces and nephews. Last but not least, she is survived by her very best friend, Carolyn Whitington (Whitt).

A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Little Rock's First Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Curtis officiating. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
