Lawrence James "Larry" Andert, 75, of Ozark went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, in his home.
He was born Oct. 22, 1937, in Minneapolis.
He was a self-employed home builder in Minnesota, Arkansas and Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Henry and Madeline Gibson Andert of Altus; great-grandson, Kyler Richards; and sister, Mary Oquist of Knoxville.
He is survived by his wife, Judith "Snell" Andert; four children, Darrell Andert Sr. of Ozark, Diane Andert of Dalbo, Minn., Tim Andert and wife Vicki of Garfield and Thomas Andert and wife Teresa of Van Buren; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Andert and wife Paula of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and a sister, Kathy Beard of Lakeland, Minn.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at West Park Baptist Church in Ozark with Brother Troy Vaughn, Brother Gib Allen and Brother George Crump officiating, with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Darrell Andert Jr., Michael O'Connor, Derek Andert, Kris Creecy, Duane Frazier and Tyler Usrey.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bob Thompson, Loyd Durham, Darold Morrison, Pete Oquist, Frank Hodge and Jeff Rauser.
