FAYETTEVILLE — Orville V. Stout, 76, of Fayetteville died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at his home.
He was born April 18, 1925, in the Whitehouse community, the son of Calvin and Julia Skelton Stout.
He was retired from the Fayetteville Fire Department and the Fayetteville school system. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Imogene W. Stout; two daughters, Diana Duke and husband Darrell of Camden and Debbie Dowell and husband Larry of Elkins; four grandchildren, Darren Duke and wife Maggie, Jason Duke, Clayton Dowell and wife Shelley, Amy Dowell; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Velma Lewis of the Whitehouse community; one brother, Erville Stout of Centerton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at Calvary Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Nickell Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel.
