SPRINGDALE — John Scott Hurd, 46, of Springdale died Dec. 21, 1999, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Nov. 18, 1953, in Superior, Neb., to Hollis Ray and Mary Jane Lovwell. He had been a welder.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Medlin Hurd of the home; one son, Nathan C. Hurd of the home; two brothers, Hollis Ray Hurd Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz., and David Lovwell of Superior; two sisters, Jenny Reed of Traverse City, Mich., and Judy Hurd of Haysville, Kan.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Friendship Cemetery with Ray Main officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home of Springdale.
No visitation is scheduled.
