** OXNARD, Calif. - Imia M. Hoggard, 90, of Oxnard, Calif., formerly of Strawberry, died June 6, 2008, in Oxnard.

Born Sept. 6, 1917, in Calamine, she was the daughter of John L. and Tinty Mullen. She was a member of Eli Whiting Methodist Church at Jesup.

Survivors include two daughters, Verna Sasak of Pleasanton, Calif., and Bettye Johnson of Oxnard; three grandchildren, Wayne Johnson, Robert Johnson and Jennifer Raish; five grandchildren, Kevin Johnson, Samantha Johnson, Treven Raish, Alexa Raish and Sophia Johnson; and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer Hoggard; and nine brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lancaster Cemetery in Strawberry with John Stoll officiating. Arrangements are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Honorary pallbearers are Miles Oliver, W.C. Richey, Gary Johnson, Sid Johnson, Nick Barbieri and Robert Johnson.

No visitation is planned.
