*Wiliam Brians was the son of William Brians and Hannah Milster. He married Elizabeth Jane Smith in 1840. They had at least 10 children; Mary Elizabeth, Sarah Ann, Mattie Jane, Margaret Louisa, James William (married Emma M. Moore), Alice Emily, John Franklin (married Bobby Lee Perry), Harriet Caroline, Fannie Lee, and Edwin Monroe.
