Sam Gulledge, age 72, of Adona, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012. He was born August 10, 1940, in Leeds, Alabama, a son of Harrison C. Gulledge and Myrtie Inez Goodwin Gulledge. He was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Wheeler Gulledge of Adona; two sons, Samuel L. and David Gulledge both of Adona; two daughters, Diane Humphrey of Perry and Brenda (Eddie) Williams of Adona; three brothers, Harrison, Johnnny and Jack Gulledge; seven grandchildren, Dustin, Joe, and Victor Gulledge, Dakota Williams, Jessica Hoyt, Linda Atkinson and Ashley Gulledge; eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012, at Cherry Hill Cemetery with Bro. Gene Tanner officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville.
