WILLIAMS, James T. - (from Providence} James T. Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.M. Williams, was born near Garfield July 10, 1894 and was accidentally killed by his clothing being caught on a revolving shaft while operating a machine in a brick plant at Harrisonville, Mo. December 21st. The remains were brought here for burial and funeral services were held at Providence church, conducted by Elders Zinn and W.F. Easley. Interment was made in the Snoderly grave-yard on Christmas eve. He is survived by his parents and three brothers, Elza Williams of Decatur, Nebr., Elwood Williams of Iola, Kan. and Howard and one sister, Miss Lillie Williams. All were present at the funeral. The news of his death was indeed a sad shock to his many friends here for he was the kind of a boy that might well be taken as a model and his short life was an example for his young friends. A generous hearted, energetic and ambitious boy of 17 years. We extend our heart-felt sympathy to the entire family and also to his friend, Miss Lena Miller of Spur, Texas, in this hour of bereavement.
