James William Baker, age 80, of Warren, AR. died Thursday March 21, 2013 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, AR. Born September 14, 1932 in Magnolia, AR. a son of the late Welcome William Baker and Irene Adkins Baker he was a retired shipping foreman for Potlatch Corp. with 32 years of service and member Calvary Baptist Church. Also, preceding him in death was a son Joey Wendell Baker.
Survivors are his wife of 61 years Patricia Ann Sparks Baker. 2 sons Gerald W. Baker, Little Rock, AR., James W. Baker, Jr., Zwolle, LA. 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 4:30 p.m. Sunday March 24 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Robin Young was the organist and Kathy Morman was the soloist. Active pallbearers were Bob Calloway, Phillip Wylie, James Kitchens, Buck Thomason, Roger Hairston and Heath Calloway. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.
