Deputy Hans Jacob Fifer, 32, of Mayflower, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 8, 2013. He was born on Friday, January 23, 1981 in Batesville, Mississippi, to E Kim and Janet Tull Fifer.

Hans graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2003. He was a well-known and respected real estate agent for the past ten years in the surrounding counties. He served as a Reserve Deputy for the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office. After he graduated the police academy, he began his calling as a full-time patrol officer for the Cabot Police Department. This past January he transferred to a position working as a full time Deputy Sheriff with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s department. Hans “lived” being a policeman and was well- known for his positive attitude and dedication to his oath. He was also highly respected by his fellow officers. Hans valued time spent with his wife, his two daughters, family, and close friends. He was an outdoorsman especially if it pertained to hunting and fishing.

Hans is survived by his loving wife, Sherah Blasioli Fifer; two beautiful daughters Allianna and Kadence Fifer all of Mayflower; His parents Kim and Janet Fifer of North Little Rock; sister, Erin Shearon and husband Heath of Maumelle; brother, Joseph Fifer and wife Liz of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; father and mother-in-law John and Annita Blasioli of Mayflower; grandparents, Sam and Wilda Fifer of Huntsville, Arkansas; numerous other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Mattie Tull.
