STAMPS, Ark.—Charles Wayne Fitzgerald, 78, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, April 1, 2013, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Mr. Fitzgerald was born Feb. 27, 1935, in Walker Creek, Ark. He was a retired Air Force chief master sergeant from. He was preceded in death by one son, Charles W. “Chuckie” Fitzgerald.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Goos Fitzgerald; one son and daughter-in-law, Samuel M. and Ksenia Fitzgerald of Seminole, Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea and Paul Stratton of Genoa, Ark., and Jennifer and Ron Smithson of Texarkana; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home with Bill Saxby officiating. Burial will be in Mars Hill Cemetery, Lewisville, Ark.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
