Mr. James F. O’Malley. Jr., age 89 of Mountain Home passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in Mountain Home. James O’Malley was born July 12, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to James F., Sr. and Leona (Reinheart) O’Malley. He was a member of the New Horizons Church of God and served in the Navy for 26 years. Mr. O’Malley enjoyed HAM Radio Operating and had a passion for airplanes, which he fulfilled by working for CESSNA Aircraft for 10 years.
Mr. James F. O’Malley is survived by a step-daughter, Sue Barnad in California. He is also survived by a neice, Anna Fay Greer, and other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife of 34 years, Ruby Rand.
Funeral Service for Mr. O’Malley will be Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the New Horizons Church of God in Mountain Home, Arkansas with Rev. Donald Dow officiating. Interment will be in Halls Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of North Arkansas.
