Dan ‘Tubs' Nesbitt, 61, of Mountain View entered into rest on May 16, 2010 in Little Rock.
‘Tubs' was born March 11, 1949 in Batesville to Dwain and Audrey (Markle) Nesbitt.
He was of the Baptist faith, a loving husband, son, brother and uncle. He owned and operated a body shop and Tubs Ministorage.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry; parents, Dwain and Audrey Nesbitt; brother and sister-in-law, Toby Nesbitt and wife Janet; nieces, Tonya Nesbitt Robey and Tabatha Stanley; nephew, Jesse Lemay and four great-nieces and – nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sammye Dawn Nesbitt Lemay; grandparents, Virgil and Clara Markle and Omar and Dosha Nesbitt and a nephew, Toby Ellis Nesbitt, Jr.
Visitation is 6 – 9 p.m., Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Foothills Baptist Church, Mtn. View with interment in Flatwoods Cemetery. Bro. David Campbell and Bro. Don Strait officiated.
Pallbearers were Jeff Nesbitt, Chris Crymes, James Oden, Bill Nesbitt, Buck Phillips, Mark Smith, Daryll Newton and Jesse Hale. Honorary pallbearers were Terry Smith, Jim Walker, Danny Simmons, Mark Branscum, Reese Tubbs and Jim Lacy.
