January 29, 1896 - November 16, 1948
Ed Cobb, age 51 years, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Russell, early Tuesday morning. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Russell, Miss Helen Mae Cobb of Camden, Mrs. Frances Proffitt of Cullendale and Miss Lottie Cobb of El Dorado; two sons, Ben Gray and Murry Eugene Cobb both of Camden, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at New Hope Church near Woodberry, with burial in New Hope Cemetery, with Mathis Funeral Home in charge. The Rev. Mr. Byars will officiate. The body will remain at the Mathis Funeral Home until time for the funeral. (Camden News - November 16, 1948)
