*Elijah was born in Tennessee. His parents were Theoplius Willams and Lear Thorn. He lived in the 18th district of Bedford County,TN. He married Mary Jane Moulder on 27-July-1865 in Shelbyville,Bedford County, TN. He had 9 children: Adaline, Jacob T., Theoplius and Thomas, Susie, Denny, Amos, Jessie G and Effie. He brought his family to AR about 1882.
