PRAIRIE GROVE — Marvin Speegle, age 78, of Prairie Grove, died Wednesday Feb. 9, 2011, in Prairie Grove.
He was born March 6, 1932, in Collinsville, Okla., to Raymond and Della Slaughter Speegle. He worked for Otasco in Fayetteville for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of the Prairie Grove Reading Club.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Shermam; one son, Gary Speegle and his wife, Chris, of Tulsa, Okla.; one daughter, Vickie Switzer and her husband, James, of Tulsa, Okla.; stepson, Bob Guillory and his wife, Teresa, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, Ark. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Rose Cemetery in Prairie Grove.
