HOGEYE — James Raymond Alford, 72 a resident of Hogeye died Sept. 16, 2010, at his home in Hogeye. He was born Sept. 6, 1938, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Elmer and Agnes Bradshaw Alford.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy Alford.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Norma Spurgin Alford of the home; two sons, Robert Alford of Hogeye, and Patrick Windle of Cloverdale, Ore.; five daughters, Charlotte Bower of Wheeler, Ill., Patricia Warford of Elkins, Pamela Windle of Hogeye, Katherine Usher of Hartly, Texas, and Laura Kidow of Fayetteville; 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 20 at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with Luke George officiating. Burial was in the Round Mountain Cemetery near Elkins.
Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice 901 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.
Pallbearers were Bobby Kildow, Kenny Bower, Tim Richey, Jason Koch, Willis Warford Jr, Isayah Warford.
