Ann McCandless, 67, of Crossett died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was a native of Wilmot but resided in Crossett for the past 40 years. She was retired from the Georgia Pacific paper mill, was a Baptist and a veteran of the U. S. Army.
She is survived by three sons, Justin McCandless of Bartow, FL, Shawn McCandless and Cade McCandless, both of Crossett; one daughter, Heather McCandless Johnson of Crossett; two sisters, Ethel Gurettezz of St. Louis, MO, and Beatrice Hollis of Crossett; four grandchildren, Devon Swain, Dayna King, Brooklyn King and Michael McCandless; and two great-grandchildren, Braidon Swain and Brennon Allison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Pearl Bowline Kincaid; three brothers, Roy, Troy and Buddy Earl Kincaid; and one sister, Georgia Kincaid.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, Cromwell Funeral Home in Hamburg with Minister Lee Padilla officiating. Burial will be at Cleveland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin McCandless, Cade McCandless and West King. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
