Shirley Lige Boster, son of Lige and Edith (Hopkins) Boster, was born on August 31, 1925 in Natural Dam, Arkansas and departed this life on Sunday, May 30, 2010 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 84 years, 8 months and 30 days.

Shirley Lige Boster was a lifelong resident of this area. He was a line worker and a carpenter for Ward Furniture Company. He was a good man and well liked by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Lige and Edith Boster, wife: Lula Boster, a young son: Joseph, a daughter at birth: Allison, brothers: Vernon Boster, Cecil Boster, Wesley Boster and an infant twin at birth.

He is survived by a loving family that includes his children: Larry Boster and wife Darla of Bentonville, AR, David Moses and wife Wanda of Van Buren, AR, Letha Stevens and husband Vernon of Uniontown, AR, 10 grandchildren: Kimberly Crittenden, Christy Walker, Amanda Johnson, Ginnie Trammell, Michael Six, Bobby Boster, Bruce Moses, Marie Dye, John Stevens, Bobbie Holstsure, 13 great grandchildren, sister: Katie Victory and husband C.L. of Springdale, AR and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Hall Cemetery, Natural Dam, Arkansas with Larry Eubanks officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
