*LOW GAP CHURCH RUINS

Low Gap Cemetery
Washington County,
Arkansas

My dad was the teacher at Low Gap School sometime during the 1930's. His name was Leo Earl Osborn. It was a one room school divided by a curtain for younger and older students. MY oldest brother started school there and my brother just younger than he also started there. Not long after he started the school was consolidated to Brentwood school which was much larger. After 4 to 6 years there the school was further consolidated into Greenland School south of Fayetteville.
