Conway, Arkansas
Nelson Alumbaugh, 75, of Conway, died Friday, January 5, 2007. He was born May 3, 1931, in Damascus, to the late C. M. Alumbaugh and Glafra Hensley Alumbaugh. He was retired from General Maintenance for the City of Conway, an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Central Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Wanda Alumbaugh; two sons, Richard Alumbaugh and Dale Alumbaugh, both of Conway; a brother, Quenton Alumbaugh of Sherwood; a sister, Laverne Gilmore of Conway; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with burial in Pine Mountain Cemetery at Damascus with Bro. Don Chandler officiating.
Pallbearers are Gene Thompson, Jim Tapley, Bill Taylor, Elmer Thomas, Mike Jones and Mel Barber.
