CLARENCE E. HOPPEL
Clarence Elmer Hoppel, 67, Siloam Springs, died Feb. 24 in Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born May 26, 1907, in Hooper, Neb., he was the son of George and Birdie Hampson Hoppel, moved to Siloam Springs from Council Bluffs, Iowa, two years ago and was a member of the Mesa, Ariz., Baptist Church. He owned and operated Rosebud Trailer Village, was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriner and Scottish Rites and a member of Pilots International Assn.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Virginia Hoppel of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Connie Larsen, Council Bluffs, Iowa; one brother, Howard Hoppel, Fremont, Neb.; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Jess Cheatham officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wasson.
