John Joseph Walton, born March 23, 1934 at Brookland, Arkansas to Isacc & Pearl McClanahan Walton, died February 22, 1995 at his residence at Walnut Ridge at the age of 60 years, 10 months and 29 days.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Carr Walton, by their son Mitchell, by their daughters Inez Cline and Ida Mae Couch, by his brothers Gene and Doyle, and by his sister, Mary Combs. Also surviving are his grandchildren: B.J. Cline, John David Cline, Matthew Walton and Paige Walton plus many other relatives and friends.
Joe was retired as an Assistant Manager of Walnut Ridge City Water Works and was an elder of the Free Street Church of Christ.
Funeral Services will be 2:30 p.m. on Friday February 24th at Free Street Church of Christ in Walnut Ridge with Donald Layne officiating.
Interment will be at Whittaker Cemetery under the direction of House Gregg Funeral Home.
