25 Jan 1880 – 25 Jan 1944 He was born in and died in Boone County, Arkansas.
He was the son of Elias A born in North Carolina and Martha A born in Tennessee.
Some of his siblings were Travis and David.
On his World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918: his nearest relative was his brother David Ashby, Everton, Boone Co., Ark. He was of medium height, slender, gray eyes, red hair. General disability make him unfit for military duty.
He was the husband of Melinda L (Still) they were married 7 May 1925 in Boone County, Arkansas.
