FAYETTEVILLE — Jack M. Volkamer Sr., 86, of Fayetteville died April 23, 2002, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Dec. 22, 1914, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Fred and Gladys Volkamer. He was a store manager for JCPenney before his retirement and was a Methodist. He was a former resident of Little Rock.
Survivors include his wife, June Volkamer; two sons, Jack M. Volkamer Jr. of Fayetteville and Christopher Hall Volkamer of Oakland, Calif.; one daughter, Camille DiCosmo of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother; six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
