Margress "Son" Wright, 79, of Conway died Saturday (July 29, 2000) at Towbin Health Care Center in North Little Rock.Born June 2, 1921, in Saltillo, to the late Mannie and Maggie Harris Wright, he was a retired salesman at Floyd Cummins Furniture, a Baptist and a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors are six sons, Mark, Robert, Mannie & Fletcher Wright, all of Conway, Genevle "Bug" of Nashville and Margress Jr of Detroit, Mich.; five daughters, Vernell Wright and Ardelima Macon, both of Conway, Verla Williams of El Dorado, Rose Bentley of Atlanta, Ga and Velma Tuggle of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Minerva Smart of Elkhart, Ind.; 28 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers weree Mark Wright, Robert Wright, Genevle Wright, Fletcher Wright, Mannie Wright and Morris Whitworth.
