Ronnie Joe Tippett February 11, 1954 - December 19, 2011

Ronnie Joe Tippett, 57, of Smithville, died Monday, December 19, 2011 at a hospital in Little Rock.

Born, February 11, 1954 in Trumann, Arkansas he was the son of Ruby Clem Tippett. He enjoyed singing, playing music and his guitar. He attended Lawrence County Exceptional School and Rosebud Assembly of God in Saffell.

Survivors include his mother, Ruby Tippett of Smithville; a sister, Debbie Brown of Melbourne; a niece, Tammy Huskey; a great-nephew, Dyllon Freeman; an uncle, Leroy Clem; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Y. L. and Verna Clem; a great-nephew, Jace Freeman; two uncles; and one aunt.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Crouch-McGee Chapel in Cave City. Burial will follow at Ward Cemetery in Strawberry under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Chapel in Cave City.

Pallbearers will be Alex Latham, W. O. Watson, Tim Crouch, Allen McDonald, Mark Davis, and Curt Howard. Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence County Cooperated Exceptional School and employees and clients of Portia.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.
