Son of Israel Helphrey & Rachel Meyers Helphrey.
Married Mary Harris, May 31, 1853, Allen County, Ohio.
Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
[Note: The picture is actually a composite of two pictures because the gravestone is broken, and the top portion is laying on the ground beside the bottom portion which is still standing. For some reason, the top portion has been cleaned while the bottom portion remains almost unreadable. It was important that the top portion be seen because it clearly shows the surname as Helphrey. The name is listed as Helprey in some cemetery books, and even in the 1880 and 1900 census. The Ohio Marriage Records do have the name spelled Helphrey.]
