Donald Strother, 62, of Batesville died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, in Batesville.
Born July 17, 1938, at Hutchinson Mountain community, he was the son of Albert David Strother and Monnie Harris Strother. He was of the Church of Christ faith. Survivors include a brother, R. J. "Bob" Strother of Hutchinson Mountain; four sisters, Irene Stephens of Pleasant Plains, Flo Krug and Stella Roberts, both of Hutchinson Mountain, and June Bailey of Batesville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nellie Mae Gay.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hutchinson Mountain Cemetery. Arrangements are by Willis-Hays Funeral Service of Batesville.
