William Jessie Kent
William Jessie Kent, age 91, passed away at the Medical Center in Calico Rock, Ark., Monday, August 27, 1973.
He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Bettie, of the home; One sister, Minnie Smith of Bakersfield, Calif.; 12 nieces and 11 nephews.
Funeral service was held at the Oxford Church of Christ, Wed., August 29, at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bill Jones officiating. Interment followed in the Oxford Cemetery by Leland Carter Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: Jim Graham, Earl McVey, Ernest Helm, Harry Gilstrap, Horace Yancey and Andy Hatman.
