Maried 1st Susan Potts, had three children, Burton Cecil Pickens, Kate M & Eddie S Pickens.
Married 2nd Lucy M Bickers 1887. His son, Burton Cecil "B C " Pickens inherited large cotton plantation after death of R A Pickens I in 1926. This same plantation is still in operation run by great-grandson of R A Pickens I ( Reuben Andrew Pickens 1942- ) located in Pickens, Arkansas.
