When Paul Revere Teal was born on May 2, 1920, in Russellville, Arkansas, his father, Walter, was 44 and his mother, Mary, was 31. He married Mary L. Burton and they had four children together. He also had one child with Melissa Frizzell Green. He died on April 10, 1969, in Mayflower, Arkansas, at the age of 48, and was buried there.
